Like most mature communities we are currently experiencing a shift in population as roughly 25% of our constituency has lived here less than 5 years. 

We are also experiencing our own miniature baby boom.  Last year our community grew by 33 as our young families continue to build.

Elmwood Community is also the home of 1 public elementary school and 2 Junior High Schools with a large well cared for playground between the elementary school and the community league hall.
